On 2nd of March, 2007, at 5:20am, time of impact which I refer to as my Day of DOOM, meaning that instant which sure changed the rest of my life. Fortunately sill living & breathing, walking, talking, getting around & ultimately doing what I choose to do, because I can. As I was the POI involved in a pedestrian knocked over accident. Now the irony being, since I am an avid believer in ‘killing two birds with 1 stone’ per say, I was on the way to the gym out where I reside whilst taking my k9 buddy 'Sheitan' (of Alaskan malamute origin) with me, unfortunately, man’s best friend’s loyalty delayed dire paramedic attention & they had to wait for police arrival to get her away from me, then go to work on me whilst having several fitting attacks on scene, as one does, when they smash their head into on-coming traffic & end up with a Severe Brain Injury. My original prognosis via Doctors to my Brother at the time, whilst 1 month coma bound on life support was, to expect the worst being a vegetative state unable to walk, talk, basically be able to take care of myself. Determined & having my extremely high self esteem STANDARDS, forced me into some sort of thought processing ACTION MODE, Oh, and being a girl, feed my Vanity neuron in some way, shape & form! Ha.
Ultimately, being able to take care of one's self, because they CAN, & have the choice to do so, be it either because you want to look good, feel good, but, health reasons a very important FACTOR for one's own personal persona List. Has a major effect on your own self esteem. Plus a very good time to indulge in your mental filing (meditatively) for your life direction. If your partnered, you don't only have yourself to consider, health wise you have to take into account how your health standard would impact directly on your family? Truly, don't sweat the small stuff! Just do it, because you CAN. You don't realize how much the Brain is used until you are severely compromised with real simple tasks (like yes, toilet by your self!) Truly.
Gold's Gym, naturally was so up there with my personal High Esteem Standards with the friendly staff, quality environ with good quality sound, equipment and my personal favorite "CLEAN, so up to STANDARD!"
Move, because you CAN, initially , of course it will feel HARD, but, b4 you want to get into some sort of body shape it is all controlled by your mental capacity & that will take some neuronal/mental are mapping, never ever acknowledge anything you do as TOO HARD. A persons personal mental remapping starts with a thought, look at it as PRACTICE and the change will follow, trust me I know.
Change is possible but you have to have that WANT, DESIRE to do so & a place of lmpeccable Standard helps too. SAFE. No pedestrian's being knocked over if training here. Ha. |
